I'm not very good at resting. I can't sit still for very long before I get an overwhelming desire to be up and about and doing something.The story of Martha and Mary is always a good reminder about the need to stop and just be. After all, time spent quietly in the presence of Jesus is always going to be good.
In a world full of people with troubled minds, troubled hearts and troubled souls there is nothing better than to stop focusing on ourselves and start focusing on God.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:10
